I finally found some real photographers with real, unretouched photos to be fiddled and nudged into masterworks. Hooray!

For this image I didn’t want to do a whole lot of skin-smoothing, firstly because the model already had incredibly smooth skin, and secondly because people aren’t made of plastic, and it is my opinion that a good retouching job shouldn’t make it appear as such. That plastic look is pretty common these days, and it makes me scoff knowingly whenever I see it. Pah! I also did a lot of other stuff, which should be evident in the before-and-after.
